Working Title are architects and strategic thinkers. We focus on the initial stages of a project, providing creative guidance and support to projects from the moment that they emerge as a twinkle in the eye of the instigator, through to the point of realisation, the moment at which it becomes a tangible object, and so begins its life.

Founded by James Bazeley in 2023, we are a design-led architectural company focussing on complex residential development and innovative workplace design with an emphasis on the human experience placed firmly at the heart of the process. We are based in London, but have broader horizons and an embracing mindset.

We are idealistic enough to believe that that we have an opportunity to positively impact the world through our inquisitive approach, hard work, and the glint in our eye that allows us to appreciate beauty and joy. We believe that considered design can enrich a situation, and we have the passion required to pursue this.

We are experienced enough to intimately understand the many pressures and challenges that others involved in the industry face. We know that the realising a project is complicated, and goes well beyond the areas that we, as architects, have exposure to. We know that we need to be empathetic to those needs, and we believe that the way to ensure that our collective visions are realised is to work well with others, in close and sympathetic collaboration, to achieve a common goal.

We are responsible enough to know that we must act such that we give back more than we are given. We have a duty of care to ensure that we act on empirical evidence, pursue best practice, and create functional, viable, environmentally sustainable, and socially progressive places and spaces. The impact of our actions can be considerable, and we must be responsible enough to acknowledge this across all its many facets, from the pressures faced by the client, the need to listen to wider stakeholders, and our responsibility to do what we can to protect the environment.
