The project looks to sensitively redevelop a backland garage site that is currently home to 10 unused garages. The proposal looks to balance the desire for light and space within the homes, with the need to respect the daylight and privacy of the surrounding properties. The proposal introduces four spacious townhouses, each with their own dedicated front garden and internal courtyard space. The materiality and articulation of the houses draw upon cues from the surrounding building stock.
